Thank you for your interest in the Alumni Mentorship Program!
Recognizing the interest of both the students and alumni to connect with each other, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations has partnered with Medical Student Government to create the Perelman School of Medicine Alumni Mentorship Program. Our amazing students are always eager to learn from those who have passed through the halls at Penn before them, and our alumni enjoy getting to know the next generation of Penn doctors. As you well know, Penn Medicine alumni harness their remarkable talent and diverse skill sets to lead in a wide breadth of careers, and they are excited for the opportunity to share their wisdom and experiences with you.
Please click on the link below to log in using your PennKey and review the professional affiliations and interests of the alumni mentors listed in the spreadsheet on the next page. Once you find a mentor that matches your interests, please enter your full name and preferred email address in the blanks provided next to the mentor’s name. Each blank/mentorship slot may only be completed once and by one student. You may select only one mentor. Please do not edit any entries or data on the spreadsheet.
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations will initiate the process by emailing your mentor, copying you, and notifying the mentor that you have selected them. Your responsibility at that point is to contact the mentor to set next steps.
By selecting a mentor, you are committing to reaching out to your mentor promptly to schedule a follow up conversation or email exchange. The mentor has committed to having at least one phone conversation or one meaningful email exchange with a student. From there, the amount and type of contact you have is completely up to you and the mentor.
